Chaz Green Back from Gainesville

One of the most sought after players in the country is Chaz Green. A four-star ranked offensive tackle and No. 13 ranked overall at the tackle position, Green stands 6-5 and just under 300-pounds. He made yet another visit to see the University of Florida but this time he was able to spend some quality time with the heart and soul of the football team.

"It was real fun," Chaz Green said. "I got some work in with the offense and defense and then after that we ate dinner with the Pouncey twins, John Brantley and Tim Tebow. Coach McCarney and Urban Meyer were also there with us. I had met the players before but that was the first time that I had a chance to really sit down and talk with those guys. We just had a great conversation and they had me rolling and laughing the entire time talking about their past experiences. Interacting with those guys just reaffirmed why Florida is my top school. I am going to try to get to a few more camps, and I will try and get back to Friday Night Lights at the end of July. When it feels right I will make the decision it's not the camps or anything like that holding me back by any means."

Here is what Southeast Recruiting Manager Chad Simmons had to say about Chaz Green after a recent trip to watch him in person.

"He was dominant all practice on both sides of the ball and he has ‘All-American' written all over him. At close to 6-feet 5-inches tall and now weighing 295 pounds, he is one of the top offensive tackles in the country. He showed great feet, a good initial punch with his hands, and he did a nice job of getting extension with his long arms. He was very impressive all practice."
