"I had a real good time," said Killebrew. "They treated me so well. Gainesville is a nice town and I felt very comfortable there. I think I can get early playing time at Florida but that is all on me. Florida is Florida... one of the premier programs in the country. What else can I say?"
Where will he end up? That's a close call. Killebrew is from Los Angeles and he spent half of his life in L.A. and he still has a lot of family in California. Unfortunately for Killebrew, he visited the Bruins for his official trip before the coaching change.
"I haven't met the new staff but them seem cool."
Then you have the two Big 12 powers - Texas and Oklahoma. Killebrew, from Klein, Texas, has already tripped to Norman and Austin. "Oklahoma has perhaps the best coaching staff in the nation and Austin is awesome and pretty close to home. Right now, I still have not made up mind. I guess you could say that I am open."
So there you have it... Texas, Florida, Oklahoma and UCLA are the finalists for one of the nation's top linebackers. Stay tuned as decision day is Wednesday.
