DT Enjoys Official to UF

Defensive tackle Carnell Stewart enjoyed his official visit to Florida. It looks like he will take his remaining three visits before he makes a decision.

Carnell Stewart took his second official visit this past weekend. Stewart, part of TheInsiders.com Hot 100, visited the University of Florida.

"It went real well," said Stewart. "I met some players and Sylvester McGrew was my host. He is from Louisiana and I played against him a few years ago. I felt real comfortable there and I like their atmosphere. Plus, Florida is in a situation where they need defensive tackles. Playing time is important to me."

Stewart is one of the nation's top D-tackles. He plays alongside two other standouts - Ryan Watson and Jarrod Carter (LSU commit). Stewart is scheduled to visit LSU this weekend and then Miami (1-24).

"Right now, I am open. The last visit will go to USC, Michigan, Oklahoma or Oklahoma State."

Oklahoma made an in-home visit with Stewart tonight and on Wednesday, Florida Head Coach Ron Zook will make one.
