Senorise Perry Drawing Attention

At 6-2 and 200-pounds, speed merchant Senorise Perry from Summerville (GA) Chattooga High School is one to watch. Perry does a number of different things on the football field, playing multiple positions such as wide receiver, running back, linebacker and safety.

"It's going real good right now," Senorise Perry said. "It's all football, football and more football. I ran track and it went well. I had a 10.5 as my fastest time this season but got hurt during state so that was a little disappointing for me."

Perry recently received his first offer on June 16.

"Recruiting is going real good right now and my first offer just came from Western Carolina. They want me to come up and check out the campus and stuff like that."

Perry attended camp in Athens with the Bulldogs on June 11.

"I went to the Georgia camp and it went great," he said. "I worked out at defensive back, wide receiver and running back. I did real good at all three and the coaches kept calling me back up as one of the first people to go through all the different drills and things each time we did them. I also ran the fastest time at camp with a 4.38."

Another team that Perry is keeping his eye on is the defending national champion Florida Gators.

"I talked to Coach Carter a few weeks ago and I try to stay in touch with him as much as possible but with vacation it's been kind of hard. I am going to Friday Night Lights and I am real excited and will love to go one-on-one with all that speed they will have at that camp."
