FNL Spotlight: Dominique Easley

The nation's No. 14 ranked defensive end is from Staten Island (NY) Curtis High School. At 6-3 and just under 260-pounds, Dominique Easley has the ability to play inside or outside for any team in the country. Currently ranked four-stars according to Scout.com, Easley has great football awareness and on the field and has a great understanding of how the game is played.

Dominique Easley is very compact and strong and gets great straight ahead drive into the opposing backfield. As a junior, he made 51 tackles, sacked the quarterback 10 times, had an interception and ran both fumbles he recovered back for touchdowns.

He has a max bench press of 285 pounds, a max squat of 550 pounds and reports a 2.5 core GPA. Easley has offers from some of the top programs in the country such as Florida, Miami, Oregon, Boston College, Michigan, Penn State and Georgia.

Easley will participate at Friday Night Lights later this month and bring his parents with him. This is one who the Gators look good for, and I would expect Easley to be a Gator if things continue on the current path.
