FNL Spotlight: Chris Dunkley

What do you get when you have a 5-11, 175-pound wide receiver with 4.40-speed that can cut on a dime and leave defenders grasping at air? Chris Dunkley. Dunkley is one of the most electric players in the country with the ball in his hands. Moves, vision, cutting ability, balance and game changing speed make him one of the most coveted players among college coaches.

The Gators have Chris Dunkley in their sights and they are the team to beat. But it's no slam dunk. He currently holds offers from Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, Miami, Oklahoma State, Michigan and Georgia to name a few.

Dunkley is one player that is definitely having some fun with the recruiting process. As recent as this week, Dunkley posted "I Committed" on his Facebook page, which brought Florida fans to full attention. Dunkley loves the Florida offense and is fully aware of what a player of his caliber can do in that offense.

While at FNL in a few weeks, don't be surprised if he stays over night and speaks with Coach Urban Meyer and the rest of the staff first thing Saturday morning. Another reason Florida fans feel good about this one is because of his great relationship with current Gator linebacker Jon Bostic. His comfort factor with Bostic is something that cannot be ignored.

Dunkley will not be a player that is worried about any other wide receivers coming in with him and knows the possibilities with he and current Gator wideout Andre Debose would be limitless.

Again, Dunkley is having about as much fun with the recruiting process as any kid in the country but don't confuse that for lack of interest in the Gators. He plans to be an early enrollee so this one could be over sooner rather than later. If he is not an early enrollee and this one goes to National Signing Day there will be some nervous Gator coaches.
