Robey Keeping Options Open

Nickell Robey is best described as lightning in a bottle. At 5-8 and 170-pounds with 4.38 speed, Robey could end up at corner where he had 11 interceptions the last two seasons or at slot receiver where he had 14 touchdowns during his junior campaign at Frostproof High School in Florida.

Nickell Robey has offers from some big time programs, including Florida, Georgia, Ohio State, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Stanford, Duke, West Virginia and Clemson. Robey has been to Gainesville numerous times and as of July 10, will not attend this year's Friday Night Lights.

He is one of the top 50 players in the state and is as explosive as any player in the Southeast with the ball in his hands. On either side of the ball someone will get a diamond in the rough with the abilities that he has.

Long thought to have been a Florida and Virginia Tech battle, don't discount teams like Tennessee and Ohio State down the stretch. At the end of the day, regardless of what happens, it would not shock me to see him part of the Gator football team.
