"I spent most of my summer working out at the school with some of my teammates and at the end of the day working with my speed trainer on my overall fitness and explosiveness and strength," Gideon Ajagbe said. "I also attended Friday Night Lights and some other camps. I haven't had a vacation but I made sure I had plenty of rest whenever I needed it. The summer has been full go getting ready for this season and especially two-a-days which start in a week. I am at 6-1.5 and 205-pounds. I haven't maxed out this summer, but I am definitely stronger than I used to be."
Ajagbe has some very lofty goals for his last season.
"A winning season obviously but I want to do better than my stats from last season," he said. "I ended with 1,354 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns. On the defensive side I had 57 tackles with 18 coming for loss. I want to focus on this season and go as hard as I can go each day."
Ajagbe plans to take some official visits but has strong words for Gator fans.
"I have not set up my official to Florida yet but I need to do that as well as set up the rest of my official visits. That is in no way a threat to the Gator Nation. I haven't been to other places outside of the Southeast."
