"I was supposed to go to Texas," said McBride. "I just had this feeling that I should go visit down there and take a look at Florida. I am glad I did. It was a wonderful visit. The players and coaches are awesome. It is like one big, close nit family. Florida fits what I am looking for - an education (law) and playing time. They need defensive ends."
McBride is a highly regarded four-star defensive end from Camden Woodrow Wilson High School. He has already visited NC State, Tennessee, and Ohio State as well. He has one remaining trip to Virginia (1-24) next weekend.
"Florida is right up there. So is Tennessee. It is hard to say right now because I still do not know what I will do. I hope to announce around Signing Day, give or take a day or two."
McBride says that Coach Fulmer, Zook and Amato will make in-home visits with him this week at some point or another.
