Will Linder stay in the Sunshine State?

Brandon Linder is the nation's No. 1 ranked center prospect and one of the top uncommitted players. Linder has offers from the who's who of college football, including Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Notre Dame, Ohio State and LSU to name a few.

The thought process has been that four teams have the edge over the rest of the competition. Florida, Miami, Notre Dame and Ohio State are clearly in the driver's seat for the 6-6, 290-pound offensive lineman who is versatile enough to play anywhere on the line.

Brandon Linder recently visited both Florida and Miami over the last several weeks and due to his rehab was unable to get to either Notre Dame or Ohio State. Not to worry, as he will take official visits to all four during his senior season.

"It's been real tough with the injury, but I am itching to get back at it and be the best player that I can be," Linder said. "I am going to work my tail off to be great this season."

My Take:
It has long been thought that Linder will not leave the state and as of right now I agree with that and believe he will play his college ball in the state of Florida. The question is where will it be? Will he suit up for the Canes, the team that he is closest to in proximity and the most familiar with? Will he spurn the hometown team and play for the Florida Gators? The Gators have been the team that has come on strong as of late with Linder and he is becoming more familiar and comfortable with the Gator coaching staff and that is something that will play into this decision for he and his family. This is a tough one to call but I think as of today it might look something like this.

Florida 35%
Miami 30%
Notre Dame 20%
Ohio State 15%
