Chaz Green Recruiting File
High School: Tampa Catholic High School
Position: Offensive Tackle
National Rank: No. 93
Position Rank: 4*/No. 14
Tampa Catholic standout offensive lineman Chaz Green is one of the top uncommitted players regardless of position. At 6-6 and 290-pounds, Green plays the offensive tackle position with a defensive tackle mentality. A frequent visitor to the University of Florida this past year as well as participation in two Friday Night Lights camps in The Swamp. Green has stated on numerous occasions that he will take a few official visits before he makes his intentions known. The two most likely destinations at this time are USC and Ohio State. There has been talk that Green could possibly make his decision without taking these visits. I believe that is unlikely at this time and do expect him to make at least one of these visits before he would announce his intentions. With his parents being Tennessee graduates and how serious the approach has been throughout this process I would not expect anything less. At the end of the day I do however expect Chaz Green and his family to make the decision to become a part of the 2010 Florida Gator recruiting class.
Green is an athletic offensive tackle that is built like a defensive lineman. He plays light on his feet, he has a great first step, and comes out of the blocks low. He can improve his pass protection some, but that will come with more reps and I would like to see him play a little meaner. He has the tools to be a top OL in college. - South Recruiting Analyst Chad Simmons.
2008: A solid tackle who has big-time potential. Performing well at various camps this summer, and could also could see action at tight end and on the defensive line. FSWA 2A Second Team All-State.
