High School: Pahokee High School
Position: Wide Receiver
National Rank: No. 82
Position Rank: 4*/No. 14
Chris Dunkley is arguably the top wide receiver in the state of Florida and one of the top playmakers in America. Dunkley is a threat to take it the distance each time he touches the ball. The Florida Gators have the inside track to land the Pahokee standout for a few reasons. Dunkley has a very strong relationship with not only position coach Billy Gonzales but head coach Urban Meyer. It's not just about football but life away from the field and the closeness they have with each other grows stronger each day. It's also well known that Dunkley has a close relationship with freshman linebacker Jon Bostic. Dunkley has plans to enroll early in his college of choice and is down to a select few programs. Florida is followed by Florida State, Ohio State, Georgia and West Virginia. The relationship that Dunkley has with not only the Florida coaching staff but current players would need to go downhill for him to not be a part of this year's class come National Signing Day.
When you watch Dunkley get in and out cuts you know there is something special here. He has the ability to create a ton of separation and has great speed/quickness. He has the skill set to play both in the slot and on the outside. -- Geoff Vogt, SunStateFootball.Com
One of the top wide receiver prospects in the state of Florida, Dunkley finished his junior season with 40 catches for 595 yards and six touchdowns. All-County Offensive Player of the year. FSWA 6A Second Team All-State, Offensive Player of the Year (Area).
