A Look at Florida's Best: OT's

Preseason camps are underway across the state of Florida. With just a few weeks before the start of the regular season, lets take a closer look at the state's top prospects. In this installment, we'll look at the state's premier offensive tackle prospects.

NOTE: These rankings were compiled by Mike Bakas (Scout's Florida recruiting analyst) and Geoff Vogt (Scout's Florida high school analyst). They include only the players Bakas and Vogt believe to be three-stars or better.

1. Brandon Linder, 6-5, 280, Ft. Lauderdale (St. Thomas Aquinas) * * * * *
Played center his first few years but moved to LT last season and looked great.

2. Chaz Green, 6-6, 290, Tampa (Catholic) * * * *
Big, strong, physical kid who really gets after it. Has a chance to be a real good one in college.

3. Ian Silberman, 6-5, 265, Fleming Island * * * * (FLORIDA)
Great athlete who just needs to keep getting bigger.

4. Dan Koenig, 6-6, 260, Cape Coral * * * (OKLAHOMA STATE)
The younger brother of a few OK ST O-Linemen in the past, he has some nice upside.

5. Tavadis Glenn, 6-5, 270, Jacksonville (Terry Parker) * * * (MIAMI)
Plays both ways in high school but projects to OT; has long arms and quick feet.

6. Cody Gibson, 6-6, 260, Tallahassee (Lincoln) * * * (SOUTH CAROLINA)
Long, good athlete, and he's aggressive. Lots of growing to do.

7. Jermaine Barton, 6-5, 275, Ft. Lauderdale (St. Thomas Aquinas) * * *
Hasn't played much so he's still learning but has a lot of tools and offers.
