[MEDIA:32875]The Gators won two HUGE recruiting wars in the past 24 hours, landing Dee Webb and Chad Jackson. UFI caught up with Jackson's mother Kay and we also have the latest with Antonio Cromartie.

Florida is having a big 24 hours. Late last night, cornerback Demetrice Webb committed to Florida. This morning, the Birmingham News reported Chad Jackson has committed to Florida. UFInsider.com just caught up with Chad's mom, Kay Jackson.

"Chad actually committed to Florida last Wednesday," said Ms. Jackson. "Coach (Ron) Zook and Wickline were here for an in-home and we had a bunch of family and friends over and he committed to them. It was a big deal. We tried to keep it a secret but that was impossible to do. Chris (Leak) committing to Florida was a big part of Chad's decision. Georgia was always right there, but they have an array of receivers there and that they are bringing in. Of course, coach Zook and Wickline have been so warm and understanding and they have vowed to take good care of my son. I am counting on them."

Jackson, from Hoover, Alabama, is a five-star receiver prospect and ranked #3 in the nation. It looks as if Jackson will still take his official visit to Georgia as a courtesy to the Dawgs and their coaching staff.

Florida would also love to sign Andre Caldwell and they are battling Miami and other for the Tampa (Fla.) Jefferson star. Caldwell has upcoming visits to LSU and Florida State before his announcement.

In other big recruiting news, defensive back Antonio Cromartie was scheduled to commit tomorrow at Lincoln High School but it looks as if that decision will be postponed and that Cromartie will visit Oklahoma this weekend. Stay tuned, as UFI will keep updating the Cromartie story.
