Antwaun Woods has started since his ninth grade year on both the offensive and defensive lines. As a 10th grader he had 10 solo tackles and last season more than 20 but was injured most of the year with an Achilles heel injury.

On what makes him one of the top defensive tackle prospects for the class of 2011.

"I have a great first step but the thing that makes me good is that I can use power or speed. I need to work on my hand placement." On his early offers from some of the nation's top programs.

USC:
"I was really excited because for them to be my first offer and they are one of the top teams in the nation I felt really good."

UCLA:
"I kind of knew it was going to happen once SC offered but the thing I noticed about them is that they are low at the defensive tackle position. I could go there right now and be in the rotation."

Florida:
"Florida and SC have always been my top schools before I started getting recruited. The thing I like about Florida is how they run the program. From seeing the passion that Tim Tebow has for the game and how he plays for Florida is what fires me up. I want to make a trip to Florida so I can really see how it is. I watch highlights on ESPN and I watched the national championship game. Overall, I know they are a good program and they like to have defensive tackles with speed. Florida is a top option for me at this time.

"All three offers that I have so far I have interest in. The two main ones are SC and Florida. Time will tell because I need to take a trip to Florida first before I can get all serious with them. It will be a thinking process with my family. I have heard a lot about Urban Meyer. How he's a great coach and I was really impressed when he said I had an offer from Florida. Coach has known about me for a year now and that really surprised me. He seems like a great guy and I can't wait to meet him in person." On what his parents thought about the Florida offer. My dad says he wants to go with me."

On his relationship with childhood friend D.J. Morgan.

"I've been playing with D.J. since Pop Warner but it won't impact my decision. He tells me all the time to make a good decision for me."
