Gator Football Preview Airs Monday Night

Hard work, heat and hustle – it's all part of the equation as the defending national champion Florida Gators prepare for the 2009 football season.

Sun Sports has been with the Gators every step of the way this off-season, and next week the network will be the place to find all the preseason scoop as Moe's Southwest Grill presents the 2009 Gator Football Preview hosted by Whit Watson. The Moe's Southwest Grill Gator Football Preview premieres on Sun Sports on Monday, August 24 at 8:30 p.m.

Fresh off of a dominant 13-1 season in 2008 and their second national championship in three years, the Gators finally hit the field again when they host Charleston Southern on September 5 at the Swamp (live on Sun Sports). Expectations are high for the Gators as they embark on a quest to win a second straight SEC title and BCS National Championship. The Gator Football Preview offers viewers a behind-the-scenes view of training camp as the Gators prepare for the season.

Viewers will hear from key players such as Tim Tebow, Brandon Spikes, Joe Haden, Jeff Demps, Mike Pouncey and Maurkice Pouncey as they discuss the upcoming season and the work the team has put in over the summer to prepare for the opening kickoff.

Sun Sports will also give fans unparalleled access to the Florida football program, head coach Urban Meyer and his coaching staff on the practice field and in the meeting rooms, allowing fans the opportunity to see what preparing for a championship is like from the inside.

Fans will get perspective from new offensive coordinator Steve Addazio, defensive coordinator Charlie Strong and running backs coach Kenny Carter along with Meyer on what the team has accomplished so far as well as their goals for the future. The Gators have added two other new faces to their coaching staff – quarterbacks coach Scot Loeffler and tight ends coach Brian White. Sun Sports introduces viewers to these two new pieces to what will hopefully be a championship puzzle. The Gators will open the 2009 season with a No. 1 ranking, and Sun Sports will be there every step of the way as they push for another national title. Sun Sports' "Breakfast with the Gators" Sunday morning game replays with David Steele, Nat Moore and Steve Babik return and additional air dates and times for the Gator Football Preview can be found at
