There are numerous prospects in the class of 2010 that I am very curious to see how things unfold and Demarco Cobbs is one of them.

My Take: It appears that Demarco Cobbs will leave the state of Oklahoma to play his college ball but I have a funny feeling that the Sooners will play into the equation down the road. USC appears to be the front runner at this time but Cobbs has exceptional things to say about three Southeastern Conference teams in Alabama, LSU and Georgia. Cobbs recently took a trip to visit Tennessee and came away very impressed with what the Volunteers had to offer. It remains to be seen if he will take an official visit to Florida at this time but has had discussions about that trip. When USC gained a verbal commitment from Robert Woods they informed Kenny Stills that USC was no longer an option for his services. With Kyle Prater all but signed for the Trojans it will be curious to see if they use this same approach with Cobbs. Only time will tell but one thing is for certain if he doesn't end up at USC there is a very good chance he will end up in the South.

Scout.Com Biography: Demarco Cobbs played quarterback last season and finished his junior year with over 1,000 yards passing for 20 touchdowns. He also rushed for approximately 1,000 yards for another 10 scores. Cobbs also ran back two punts for touchdowns, two interceptions for touchdowns and one kick return for a TD. He benches 305-pounds, squats 400 and has a 32-inch vertical jump. Cobbs also runs track (10.62 100m/21.9 200m).

Cobb plans on majoring in criminal justice and reports a 2.8 core GPA and a 24 ACT.

Cobbs: "I have good speed. I'm also pretty big already so that's a good advantage. I'm strong and very physical. I have great vision and see the whole field very well.

"But I still want to get better and keep improving. I'm very competitive and work very hard. I could probably use better foot speed too."
