Walker Talks Gators and More

Miami (FL) Gulliver Prep High School is home to Cedric Walker, a 5-9 all-purpose athlete that stands 5-9 and 175 pounds with 4.5 speed. Walker ended his ninth grade season with 31 carries for 159 yards and added three receptions for 30 yards. His sophomore season was more of the same with 33 carries for 228 yards and added 16 tackles with two interceptions of the defense.

Cedric Walker talked about Friday Night Lights and the thought of joining the Gator Nation.

"I really don't have a relationship with the coaches yet, but I received several compliments by different coaches at the Florida Camp and Friday Night Lights. I see myself fitting in good with the coaches and the players. It would be great for my family and me, to become part of the Gator Nation."

Walker's strengths as a player are his leadership skills but at times his emotions get the best of him on the field.

His favorite team growing up was the Miami Hurricanes. Walker claims verbal offers from FIU and Florida at this time. His top five looks like this, Florida, Miami, Florida State, Georgia and FIU because it's close to home and relatives.
