Driskel Hearing from SEC Schools

Oviedo (FL) Hagerty High School quarterback Jeff Driskel is one to watch from the class of 2011. At 6-4 and 225-pounds with 4.55 speed he possesses a rare combination of size and speed. Coming off an impressive sophomore season with more than 1,200 total yards Driskel is poised for a big junior season.

"I believe that I can make any throw on the field and make plays with my legs as well," Jeff Driskel said. "I want to continue to learn defenses and how to read the field a little better."

Driskel had two teams growing up he liked to pull for both coming from the Southeastern Conference.

"I cheered for Auburn and Florida and Jay Cutler was my favorite player."

"I got a chance to meet Coach Loeffler and Coach Meyer and they both seemed like great coaches. Coach Loeffler said he doesn't have one set offense and he would make changes based on what strengths the quarterback has. Coach Loeffler said he was a big believer in making relationships so I look forward to building a relationship with him. It would be awesome for me and my family it would be a great opportunity."

Driskel is hearing from Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida and Central Florida the most and names a top five of Ole Miss, Auburn, Florida, Georgia and Clemson in no particular order.

"I want to be committed before my senior season so I can relax and just play my senior year."
