Devin Clarke Visits Gators

Wide receiver Devin Clarke from Sebring (FL) enjoyed his visit to The Swamp this past weekend. At 5-10 and 170-pounds, the 2011 wideout is off to a fast junior season picking up right where he left off last year.

"The season started as planned and we have had two easy wins getting all the kinks out for our first true test this Friday against Hardee," Devin Clarke said. "We are hoping to get a little revenge for last year's overtime loss 57-51."

On his visit to The Swamp.

"This past weekend was great. I attended the Florida game with my quarterback and had a good time. The atmosphere of The Swamp was incredible and it gave me the chills as the Gators took the field."

On this past weekend in the world of college football and looking ahead to week two.

"The big loser of the weekend was Oklahoma not only the loss but Bradford getting hurt. This week I think Georgia wins in a close one over South Carolina, USC by 17 over Ohio State and Notre Dame by 12 over Michigan."

Clarke through two games has nine catches for 240 yards. On the ground he has added 50 more yards and one touchdown. Clarke also had a 65-yard punt return for a touchdown called back.
