"Coach (Bill) Miller came by the school on Thursday and I committed," said Hill. "I just felt the most comfortable at Florida, I like the coaches and I can get early playing time. On my visit, I had a good talk with Coach (Charlie) Strong. He seems like a cool guy. This is a dream come true for me because I have always wanted to play college football in the state of Florida."
Hill played his high school ball at Stranahan High School in South Florida. This season at Dodge City, he recorded 61 tackles, 22 pass breakups and 3 interceptions. Hill also returned one punt for a touchdown and averaged 13 yards per return. He committed to Florida over Tennessee. Earlier this week, Demetrice Webb, a four-star cornerback from Jacksonville (Fla.) Ed White HigH School, also committed to Florida.
