"My ninth grade year I ran for 1,182 yards with nine touchdowns," Eric Scott said. "In 10th grade, 1,242 yards with 11 touchdowns and I currently have 280 yards and one touchdown this season. My strengths as a player I would say my vision an my ability to make plays..I need to improve on strength and speed."
Scott plays running back, defensive back and wide receiver and could play any of those positions at the next level. He has a 265-pound bench, 495-pound squat and 295-pound power clean.
While Scott has not been to Gainesville he gave the Gators high marks.
"I haven't been to the university but I have rode past it and it was amazing. I love the stadium. It's huge. They have a lot of fans and a lot of good coaches. I like their school too. I like the academics and their athletic programs. Florida is just a wonderful school. I see myself fitting in well with the coaches and players. They are coached well and hard and they take pride in what they do. It would be very exciting. It's close to home and the family loves the Gators."
Scott is hearing from Clemson, Georgia Tech, LSU, UCLA and the Gators. Florida has shown the most interest at this time while if he picked a favorite team growing up it would be Georgia with his favorite player Adrian Peterson. His top five in order is Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Clemson and Georgia Tech.
