Top Talent at The Swamp on Saturday

As the nation's No. 1 ranked Florida Gators get ready to host the Tennessee Volunteers some of high school football'a top talent from around the country are making travel plans for Gainesville. Saturday in The Swamp it will be a who's who of high school football superstars.

Current Gator commitments Gideon Ajagbe will be on hand with his mother, father and little sister. Neiron Ball will be in attendance as well as Mack Brown. Quarterback Trey Burton and younger brother Clay Burton will visit for Saturday's showdown as will Gerald Christian, Jonathan Dowling, Matt Elam, Mike McFarland, Leon Orr and Ian Silberman. Solomon Patton and Adrian Coxson will not be able to attend due to games they play on Saturday. Demar Dorsey will also make the trip up for the game.

Robert Clark will be coming with Christian and Elam.

Ivan McCartney also will not be able to attend as he is taking a visit to Oregon as they host Utah.

"I am taking an official visit to Oregon for the Utah game. I will have the recorder going for the Florida game." It also appears that five star Lamarcus Joyner will not be able to make the trip.

Lynden Trail one of the top defensive end prospects in the Southeast will be at the game.

"Of course I am going to be there."

Wide receiver Quinton Dunbar is also scheduled to attend.

Johnavon Fulton will not take an official visit for this weekend's contest and will not make the trip.

Florida will host four prospects on official visits this weekend: Jordan Haden, Josh Shaw, Will Hagerup and Sharrif Floyd.

Jaylen Watkins will also be in The Swamp on Saturday and is bringing superstar little brother wide receiver Sammy Watkins.

Some of the top uncommitted players for the class of 2010 will invade Gainesville Friday/Saturday with the likes of Jeff Luc, Brandon Linder, Christian Green, Chaz Green, Chris Dunkley, Christian Jones, Jordan Hicks and Ronald Powell. There will also be more than a few prospects that have committed to other teams that will be in town for this game. Those names will need to remain quiet until a later date.

Some of the top players for the class of 2011 will also be in attendance, earlier I mentioned wide receiver Sammy Watkins. Another couple of wide receivers to keep an eye on are Devin Clarke who is coming with his dad and his quarterback Matt Grub. Matt's father attended Florida and Charone Peake. Peake from South Carolina is one of the top wide receivers in the southeast for the class of 2011.

"I just want to get to know the coaches pretty good."

Defensive end Ray Drew from Thomas County Central HS is attending as well.

"I want to go and experience the excitement of The Swamp."

The Swamp can be a magical place and more than a few players will be on hand to take part in their first game at Florida.

A.J. Johnson from Gainesville (GA): "I am so ready this will be my first time going to a game."

It appears that the fine tight end from Dwyer, Nick O'Leary will not be able to attend.

"I was going to but I think I am going to Ole Miss to visit my brother."

Others such as Tim Jernigan, James Wilder, Nick Waisome, Javares McRoy, Kelvin Benjamin and Tyler Hunter are also attending.

Quarterback Jeff Driskel is all set to come.

"Yes I am coming with my mom and a friend."

This is simply a few of the prospects that will be on hand Saturday as there will be many more prospects on hand this weekend. I have heard from more than 100 different 2010 and 2011 prospects over the last couple of days.
