From Spartanburg (SC) Charone Peake has verbal offers from some of the nation's top teams. Currently three standout from the rest.
Peake told FightinGators.com a month ago that he would need to get to know the Gator coaches better as the recruiting process unfolds.
"I finally got to see The Swamp and meet the coaches in person. I spoke with Coach Gonzales, Coach Carter and Coach Meyer after the game today. It was great to met those guys in person. We got a chance to start building a chemistry together."
Peake was also impressed with what each of the coaches had to say to him and his parents after the game.
"Coach Carter was talking to me about my grades and keeping things in order on that end. Coach Gonzales was talking to us about the Florida wide receivers in the NFL and the success that those guys have been having. Coach Meyer was talking to us about how badly Florida needs wide receivers to come in and play. My mom and dad were both impressed with what the coaches had to say and the game day atmosphere of The Swamp."
