Tallahassee Junior Drawing Attention

As the 2010 recruiting class draws near, the Florida coaches will slowly turn their attention to the class of 2011. One player in next year's class that has begun to draw the attention of Coach Brian White is offensive lineman Montae Jones.

Montae Jones, from Tallahassee (FL) Amos. P. Godby High School is 6-3 and 305-pounds.

"My max bench is 310, squat is 450 and power clean 285. We are 1-3 on the year and I have 15 pancake blocks. Our next opponent is Madison County."

Jones talked about his schools of interest at this time.

"I have a written offer from Florida International and have been to one game so far at Florida State. The visit was pretty nice. I have had contact with the Gators via email with the Gators and the coach recruiting me is Coach White. Florida is tied for first with Florida State and I don't have any kind of time table for my decision."

It is very early in the process for Jones but he is one to watch as the 2011 season progresses. He has a chance to become a very good player over the next two seasons and is one player that could see his stock soar. Jones does plan to visit Florida in the future.
