Jackson Could be one of Florida's Best

It seems each recruiting season the state of Florida gets deeper and deeper with talent seemingly everywhere you turn. The class of 2011 is overloaded with top players such as Mike Bellamy, Timmy Jernigan, Sammy Watkins and James Wilder to name a few. Many feel the very best offensive linemen next year's class has to offer could come down to Marcus Jackson and Tyler Moore.

With Moore's recent pledge to Nebraska, Marcus Jackson will become a hot commodity in the next several months.

The Marcus Jackson Profile:

6'4 290-pounds
Vero Beach (FL)
Offensive Guard
Class of 2011

"I really liked Florida when I visited for the game," Jackson said.

Jackson is like so many other high school juniors is keeping his options open at this time but has two that stand out.

"It's hard to say but it's real close between Miami and Florida."

Jackson has three written offers with South Carolina, Miami and Florida International.

My Take:
Marcus Jackson is big, strong and physical and the kind of player that you want on your offensive line. He could emerge as one of the premier offensive line prospects in the state of Florida before it's all said and done. He was impressed with what Florida had to offer after his visit so it will be interesting to see when/if he schedules a return trip to The Swamp.
