Tallahassee Duo Hearing from Top Programs

Tallahassee (FL) Godby High School has been home to numerous top flight prospects over the years and you can add Montae Jones and Quayshun Smith to the list for the class of 2011.

At 6-2 and 305-pounds an offensive line prospect Montae Jones has one current offer at this time from Florida International.

"My current stats are 20 pancake blocks but our record is 2-3 right now," Jones said.

From Tallahassee it's no wonder that his only visit to date has been to Florida State.

"The only team I have visited so far is Florida State University and all three times I have been it's been fun. I plan to visit programs such as Florida, Alabama and LSU. I would love to hear more from Florida and Alabama."

Jones talked about his strength and what he hopes to improve on moving forward.

"My strengths on the field are pass blocking, quickness, speed, and good feet. I want to and will improve on run blocking."

Godby is also home to dynamic 5-10 and 170-pound playmaker Quayshun Smith who looks to project as a corner at the next level.

"I have one written offer right now from Arkansas and have only visited Florida State."

Currently Smith is hearing from five schools.

"I hear from Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Florida State and South Florida a lot."

Smith possesses great speed and ball skills and would like to hear more from three in particular with Florida, Oregon and UCLA.
