Stills Down to Two?

Five-star wide receiver Kenny Stills from Encinitas (CA) La Costa Canyon is planning to enroll early at the college of his choice. It appears at this time that the five-star playmaker could be down to two major players while still considering a few others.

"Nothing special is going on right now, " Kenny Stills said. "I am speaking with Oklahoma and Florida about every day. I stay in touch with those guys through email and calling all the time. I am going to take my official visit to Oklahoma this weekend when they play Texas A&M. I will go to Florida at the end of the month for the Florida State game. I was going to Michigan on the 21st but now I don't think I want to end up in that part of the country. I took an official to Tennessee earlier in the season when they played UCLA. I don't speak with those guys anymore I don't think the coaching staff is the best fit for me."

Stills has kept his mother away from the recruiting world for the most part until he felt it was time for her to build a relationship with a potential staff and it appears as if that time is now.

"My mom has talked to Oklahoma before and she spoke with Coach Meyer last Thursday I believe it was for the first time. I have wanted to get her approval with schools once I started to narrow it down and especially since both of them are out of state schools. She had a great first impression of both staffs. I feel that those two teams are real strong but will take a look at some others that my mom has yet to speak with. Miami offered and that could change some things and I will still look at some Pac-10 teams as well."

Stills remains in contact with players such as Chris Martin, Josh Shaw and Ronald Powell. It will be very interesting to see what his impression of Gainesville is after his official visit at the end of the month. Chris Martin will also try to take his official visit the same weekend depending on what happens with the playoffs.
