2011 Superstar Has Gators High

If it wasn't enough that Gerald Christian, Matt Elam and Robert Clark all played for Palm Beach Gardens (FL) William T. Dwyer High School, 2011 superstar defensive end Curt Maggitt does as well.

Curt Maggitt, a 6-3 and 210-pound pass rushing specialist has the Gators high at this time and took a visit to Gainesville this past weekend with Elam, Clark and Nick O'Leary.

The three-star defensive end has offers from Florida, Iowa, Miami, South Florida, Tennessee and Wisconsin to name a few.

"I thought the game was tight," Maggitt said. "The atmosphere was unbelievable. It seemed like something you would see in a movie. I talked to coach Dan McCarney and it's always great talking with him because I would be playing under him if I choose Florida. We have a good relationship."

Maggit enjoyed everything that Florida has to offer and already has one connection with Matt Elam headed to Gainesville but he's not the only connection.

"We got there a little late but the best part of the trip was talking with Coach Mac. I also talked to Rick Burgess and I can definitely see myself there. It's always fun when I go with Matt. Rick went to Dwyer and I worked out with him over the summer a bit."
