Meyer: Dunlap Out for Saturday

Florida head coach Urban Meyer said that defensive end Carlos Dunlap will not play in Saturday's SEC Championship Game against Alabama in Atlanta. Meyer spoke after the team's practice on Tuesday and said he is still learning the details of the incident involving Dunlap early Tuesday morning.

Urban Meyer said he hasn't had the chance to talk to Carlos Dunlap or his father after Gainesville police arrested Dunlap early Tuesday morning on DUI charges.

"It's stunning," Meyer said.

The Gator coach said he was most surprised by the news because it involved Dunlap who hasn't had any prior off-the-field issues and because of the timing of the incident.

Dunlap was the defensive player of the game of last year's BCS title game. will have more later tonight...
