Johnson Takes in Swamp

Cornerback Chris Johnson is from Ocala (FL) Trinity Catholic and checks in at 5-10 and 185-pounds and is a very aggressive and physical player. With a 315-pound bench it's easy to see that the strength of his game is his physical presence on the football field. Johnson was able to take in The Swamp as the Gators hosted Florida State this past weekend.

"We got up there about 2:00 p.m. and we went and got checked in and went to the Gator room to grab something to eat," Chris Johnson said. "It was real cool and nice from the facilities to everything we saw. I like the way they keep it."

It was senior day for the Gators and two of the best to every play for the Gators have made an impression on a lot of people as well as Johnson.

"It was real emotional because Tebow and Spikes have worked real hard for four years. They have inspired me the way they play and the way they work off the field. There isn't much you can say about those two that hasn't been said already."

On the outcome of the game no one was shocked at how things unfolded certainly not Johnson

"I knew Florida would pull away from them. The defense really got after it and they are a true national championship team. For me I just need to see where Florida stands. South Carolina has offered and I hear a lot from Miami and Vanderbilt."
