Burton Spends More Time in Gainesville

Quarterback Trey Burton, 6-3 and 220-pounds, has been committed to Urban Meyer and the Florida Gators as long as anyone in the class of 2010. This weekend Burton and his mother were able to take another trip to Gainesville but this time it was his official visit.

Quick Take Trey Burton Official Visit:

"We pulled in around 4:00 p.m. on Friday and we didn't have to be at Coach Meyer's house until 7:30 p.m. so I had a chance to lay down and rest for a while. There were so many people at his house, maybe like 30 current players were over there. Jaylen, Ian and Justin were also there but Jaylen was a little late. We all hung out with all the coaches and their families just talking about football and life. After that we kind of sat back and watched some of the Cavs and Lebron James game that was on TV."

Saturday it was more of the same for Burton and his mother.

"Saturday I got up real early because I wanted to watch practice. I was the only one who got up and went over to practice. It was cold and raining like crazy. I stood over on the sidelines and got soaking wet but it was worth it. After that we went to see the school, watched highlight videos, went to the weight room and took a tour of all the facilities. I would visit and do those things everyday if I had the chance. Last night we went out to eat and it was crazy again. Coach Loeffler, his wife and my mom were throwing back some sushi. Brandon Linder, Kent Linder and Coach Addazio as well as Sam Robey were absolutely killing the sushi all night long. Everyone had a great time. I spent most of my time with Jordan Hicks he is a real cool guy."

"First thing Sunday morning we went to the training room then over into the locker room for a while. After that we went and had brunch with Coach Meyer and spent more time talking with the rest of the coaches. After we were done we went back to The Swamp to get our car with Coach Loeffler and I spent some time talking with him and he told me he will see me in a few weeks."
