Dunkley Nears Decision

Pahokee (FL) superstar wideout Chris Dunkley has been one of the most talked about recruits throughout the 2010 recruiting season. He is a 6-0, 180-pound speed merchant that can beat defenders in a variety of different ways.

Chris Dunkley is long and lean and could easily carry another 20 pounds and reach that 200-pound mark. He has been a standout wherever he goes and next week in Orlando he has a chance to once again rise above the rest of the competition.

Could he move up in the rankings after a strong showing (currently No. 5 WR and 5*)? Who knows but he will without question want to prove he is the top football player in Orlando.

He will enroll early in the college of his choice and plans to announce during the game on Saturday. At this point the Gators must be considered the clear frontrunners for his services.

Next week, Dunkley will room with current Gator commitment Demar Dorsey. There are many factors attracting Dunkley to Florida one of which is early playing time. The Gators have a new wide receiver coach in Zack Azzanni and his first priority after connecting with current committed wide receivers was connecting with Dunkley. They have spoken on a regular basis since Azzanni arrived in Gainesville and this one is just about over. Could things go dreadfully wrong with Dunkley and Florida? Sure they could but it would take some cataclysmic event that would need to take place.
