SunStateFootball Top 100: 51-60

Senior year film is in, the playoffs are over, and there is a little over a month til signing day, here is the final top 100 for the state of Florida. Today we continue with players ranked between 51 and 60.

51. DE Thomas Ryan, Marathon

Ryan has prototype size and a work ethic to match. We like his ability to be physical on the edge. At over 240 some schools have been intrigued by his potential at OT. He is committed to Vanderbilt.

52. CB Derek Owens, Andrew Jackson

Owens season was cut short by being over the age limit for high school players. He has been on of the Jacksonville Area's top play-makers for three years, we love his ability as a man corner at the next level. Owens is committed to Georgia.

53. WR Ace Sanders, Manatee

Ace has electric burst and is one of the crispest route runners in the state. He was a big part of Manatee's run to the state final. Sanders also provides a spark on special teams. Sanders is being recruited by several BCS schools.

54. OC Shane McDermott, Palm Beach Central

The UnderArmour All-American is an ideal candidate to play C in college. McDermott carries his weight well, he just needs to continue to work in the weight room. He is committed to Miami.

55. DE Lynden Trail, Booker T. Washington

At 6'7, Trail has elite height, it is his frame that is the focus of discussion. He is just over 200 and some feel weight will not come easily for Trail. He can play TE as well as DE. There is a lot of upside here as athletically he could play on Sunday's. Trail is committed to Florida.

56. CB Spencer Boyd, Cape Coral

Boyd fought through a hamstring injury his senior year, when healthy he showed the athleticism to be a major factor at the next level. Boyd has a strong, compact frame and great anticipation, qualities in high demand at CB. He is enrolling early at Notre Dame.

57. CB Lo Wood, Apopka

Another Notre Dame CB commit, this one is from Central Florida. Wood is just rock solid across the board, he can run with most WRs and he will hit them when he gets there.

58. WR Josh Reese, Miami Central

Reese has been Godfrey's favorite weapon and the two are likely to end up at the same school. Reese just flat gets open and makes plays. He is not the biggest nor fastest WR in the state, he just gets the job done.

59. OT Tavadis Glenn, Raines

There is no denying the talent that Glenn possesses, he recently showed that in Orlando at the UA game. Glenn needs to develop more of a mean streak and he needs more experience. He is committed to Miami.

60. CB Terrence Brooks, Dunnellon

Brooks has made a lot of plays on both sides of the ball, but it is on the defensive side he will make his living from here on out. Brooks has that RB toughness that is attractive at CB. He is a little behind technique wise, but the talent is there to be quality CB at the next level. Brooks is committed to Florida State.
