Dorsett Recruiting File

One of the top playmakers in the state of Florida for the class of 2011 is wideout Phillip Dorsett. A 6-0 and 170-pound wide receiver with speed to burn from Fort Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas, Dorsett currently holds offers from powerhouse programs such as Florida, Notre Dame and Ohio State.

Phillip Dorsett has plenty of speed but will need to work on catching the ball and route running throughout the course of his senior season. However, make no mistake about it, he is one of the most explosive athletes in Florida at the wide receiver position. He is not only fast (4.4) but very quick making him very dangerous in the open field every time he touches the ball.

He could be the next wide receiver from the state of Florida to find his way to play for Ohio State. Dorsett has Ohio State high on his list at this time and seems very enamored with the Buckeye's and appear to be the team to beat early in the recruiting process. Distance very well might play a factor in his decision making process and that will be something to keep an eye on with Dorsett and his family.

The Gators have now extended offers to both Phillip Dorsett and Rashad Greene from St. Thomas Aquinas. The duo form one of the most dangerous one two punches at the position in the state of Florida. Biography:
