First Look: Deiontrez Mount

The state of Florida is so loaded for the class of 2011 that a player standing 6-5.5, 220-pounds with 4.6 speed has flown under the radar. Missing six games last season, Deiontrez Mount totaled 48 tackles, 25 solo, 17 for a loss, two sacks, one pass break up, two blocked field goals and one blocked punt.

From Fort Walton Beach (FL), Mount plays all over the field at outside linebacker, defensive end and safety. At the next level Mount has a better understanding of where he might end up.

"I'm thinking about a standing defensive end position on the outside, basically an outside linebacker."

Mount maintains he doesn't have a great relationship with the Florida coaches at this time but would feel very comfortable with everyone there being very close to his teammates. When thinking about becoming a Gator Mount had this to say.

"It's always been a dream."

Wisconsin, Wake Forest, South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida State all have offered at this time with Wisconsin and Florida State showing the most attention.
