Benjamin is one of the Best

At 6-6 and 210-pounds Belle Glade (FL) Glades Central standout wideout Kelvin Benjamin can do it all. It remains to be seen how much more he will grow pushing him to tight end if that is the case but he clearly has all the tools that make him one of the top wide outs in the state of Florida.

Tennessee was the first school to offer and Kelvin Benjamin has familiarity with the University of Georgia thanks to wideout Rantavious Wooten. Benjamin is also very close with Travis Bell who signed with West Virginia last season. He has spent time in Gainesville as well as Miami. Expect these teams to have the greatest shot at the 6-6 playmaker - Miami, West Virginia, Georgia and Florida.

There will certainly be other teams that pop up on the horizon from now until National Signing Day 2011 and maybe even some other visits. At the end of the day I would be willing to bet it will come down to these four schools.

Basketball was his first love and last season was his first full season on the football field. He is very raw at the wide receiver position and that is a big reason why he is so attractive to college coaches. Once he learns the position coupled with his physical abilities he could be scary good. Benjamin was more of a jump ball kind of catcher last season but this year you will see more of a polished wideout on Friday nights. He has exceptional hands and height but will need to vastly improve his overall strength before he gets to the next level. Biography:
