Francois Making Noise

Bradenton (FL) Southeast is home to one of the top defensive ends for the class of 2011. Giovani Francois currently holds offers from Louisville, Rutgers and FIU with numerous teams showing heavy interest.

A 6-2 and 245-pound defensive end, Giovani Francois ended his junior season with 79 tackles, 8.5 sacks, and recovered four fumbles. He was also named to First Team All-State DL for the 3A classification and First Team All Area DL by Bradenton Herald.

"Clemson, Alabama, Rutgers, Louisville, FIU are the teams that I talk to the most right now," Francois said. "I stay in contact with all of them and I like them all. I talked with Coach Strong and Coach Carter at Louisville the other day and they both told me they need dominating defensive linemen and that if I come in and work hard I can be that guy and play as a freshman. They asked me if they had a shot with me and I told them of course. I loved how he ran the Florida defense and I know he is a great coach.

"I was going on some visits this weekend but instead will go to a camp and take trips over the summer. I like Florida State and I will see them over the summer. Also, I am going to head up to camp in June in Gainesville so I can get out there and show them what I can do and then I also think I will be at Friday Night Lights."
