Miles Shuler is one of Nation's Best

The Florida Gators have turned their attention to the North time and time again for recruiting purposes over the last several years and 2011 will be no different. Miles Shuler has blazing speed (4.38), 245 pound bench press, 425 pound squat, 41.6 vertical and a 116.8 Sparq Rating, which ranks 10th nationally.

Miles Shuler checks in at 5-10 and 175-pounds from Long Branch (NJ). Shuler could find himself at a number of positions at the next level from running back, wide receiver or cornerback. Currently he is ranked as a four-star cornerback prospect by

Shuler holds offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Duke, Maryland, Michigan, Northwestern, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Stanford, Vanderbilt and West Virginia.

"Rutgers was great and it is home. Pitt was great also, I really liked the city. I will visit Penn State on May 2-3. I will visit Florida end of June with (Savon) Huggins for Friday Night Lights."

Northwestern, Rutgers, Pittsburgh and Michigan are showing the most interest at this time.

Shuler talked about what makes him dangerous.

"I'm an explosive player that can play running back, wide receiver or defensive back, plus some Wildcat. I'm a playmaker and with my speed if I get a crease, I'm gone. I like running back, my combination of quickness and speed separate me from the rest. I need to work on my wide receiver skills, because I never really played the position."
