"I visited Louisville for the junior day on March 27," DaMon Husband said. "I loved the coaching staff and the environment. Talking to the coaching staff they have high expectations on this season. And that's something that I want to be apart of is that change. They are projecting me as a center, so that means that I could go in as a true freshman and that's something I look forward to doing. I have also visited Auburn, Vanderbilt, Southern Miss, and Alabama. They were all good trips. I plan on attending a lot of camps this summer: Alabama, Florida State, LSU and Auburn and many more upcoming combines."
Husband talked about his upcoming season and strengths as a player.
"I'm actually looking forward to this season. Iur team is young but they love the game of football and will do everything to win. We have been working hard non-stop ever since November to recover from a horrible season. I expect myself to just stay focused on my goals that I have set for this year and aim high. I'm a fundamentalist as I like to call it. I work on my fundamentals all the time even if I am at home, I would just get up and work on my kick step.
"I play tackle now. I am projected as a guard in college and center to some but I feel most comfortable at guard. What makes me better than the rest is completion, I feel like every play I want to make this guy in front of me quit. I'm pound him all day long. I'm give him my best I want him to remember me. And this is not talking trash or thinking that I'm the best. One of the things that I have been working on during the offseason is my mobility and flexibility. I wish I could get taller but the big man didn't bless me with that gift, so I have to go with what I got."
Husband on the Florida Gators.
"The first word I use when speaking about the Gators' program is 'pride'. I have seen so many games when Florida has completely taken it over and just dominate. I love the energy that is pour out on to the players from fellow leaders. Coach Meyer is legendary and his staff goes out and recruit the best players and it shows on game day. At Florida they compete and that's something that I have no problem with. But I was influence by the Pouncey twins playing. They were big, fast, strong. I love the Gator program and that's something that I want to be a part of."
