"I have only visited South Florida and I was really impressed by their facilities and coaching staff," Carlos Carvajal said. "It really opened my mind about South Florida. My future trips are Purdue for the junior day, Boilermaker camp and I want to visit every team that I have an offer from. The teams showing me the most interest are Purdue, Florida International, Louisville, TCU, Nebraska and Wisconsin."
Carvajal talked about his upcoming senior season and his game.
"My outlook for my senior season is to help our team to beat the West, Central and Jackson and to make it to the playoffs. I would like to make All-Dade and All-American and be one of the top tight ends in the nation. Our team needs to play together like a family and share the ball and have discipline and stay away from stupid mistakes.
"My overall strengths as a player would be my blocking ability and I'm not afraid to stick my head in for a block. I am not afraid going for any high ball and will sacrifice my body for a catch. I have soft hands and will catch anything coming my way. I want to play tight end in college and need to get faster and my routes need to be on point. I work hard and like they say hard work pays off."
Carvajal on the University of Florida:
"The Florida Gators are always a good football team and they pick up the best players and they have a good coaching staff. I know they always have first round draft picks."
