Tracking Jabari Gorman

One of the top defensive backs in the state of Florida, Jabari Gorman, recently received an offer from the University of Florida. Gorman, a 5-11 and 175-pound defensive back from Miami (FL) Monsignor Pace is the nation's No. 13 ranked cornerback prospect according to Scout.com. Gorman could play corner or safety at the next level.

Jabari Gorman has attended camps in Miami and Alabama and holds offers from Miami, Ohio State, Alabama, Arizona State, Boston College, Florida, Florida International, Florida State, Iowa, Louisville, LSU, Maryland, Memphis, Minnesota, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and South Florida.

Four teams that will be in the mix until the very end are Alabama, Florida, Miami and Ohio State.

My Take:
Everyone in the world is and will continue to recruit Jabari Gorman. He is being recruited by running backs coach Stan Drayton. Gorman has been waiting on the Gators to offer and now that they have he is looking forward to building relationships with the coaching staff namely his recruiting coach, Stan Drayton. He maintains being totally open at this time but I suspect the four mentioned above have the best shot at his services come National Signing Day. This one wont be over anytime soon so it will be curious to see if he attends camp in June and then Friday Night Lights later in the summer. If those two things take place I think the Gators have as good a chance as anyone. Today I think Miami is the team to watch but we know how quickly things can change in the recruiting world.
