Sumler is a Playmaker

Miami (FL) Christopher Columbus is home to one of the most electric players in the state of Florida, a 5-9 and 165-pound wide receiver with 4.33 speed, Tacoi Sumler. Sumler is coming off a huge junior season and talked about what he brings to the table.

"I make big plays when I get the ball in my hand," Tacoi Sumler said. "I'm not a 6-3 receiver but I play like one. I use my speed and athletic ability to get behind the secondary and get in the end zone as much as possible. I had 54 catches for 994 yards and 20 total touchdowns with five interceptions."

Sumler currently holds offers from Auburn, Clemson, Duke, Florida State, Louisville, Mississippi, Nebraska, Oregon, Rutgers, South Carolina, South Florida, Stanford, Tennessee, Central Florida, Wake Forest and West Virginia.

One school that has not offered at this time is the University of Florida.

"I know that Florida is one of the best programs in the nation along with one of the top educational opportunities, and some of the top facilities as well. They will always be a big time school and team. They are known for speed and making plays."
