Stoner Talks Recruiting

The 6-1 and 170-pound defensive back with 4.42 speed, Nick Stoner, checks in from Greenwood (IN) Center Grove.

"I like all the coaches from each of the schools, they all are cool nice and just great guys," Nick Stoner said. "They all seem to have high standards on academics so I do like that. Iowa State was the first to offer so that's respect in my eyes. IU is close to home, my family lives in Bloomington, well my cousins and such. I haven't visited Louisville but Coach Strong is awesome. Toledo is a great family environment which is always awesome. Illinois has a great football program and can be very effective in the Big ten each year. and Western Kentucky's program is building up and my Uncle went to school there but I have not visited them either. I could say these things about any of these schools, they are all awesome."

Stoner talks Gators:

"I think Coach Meyer is an awesome coach, winning bowl game after bowl game after bowl game really shows he knows what he is doing. I would love a chance to play at Florida, or against. They are a high caliber football program that knows how to win. I think that I would be up to the test."
