Trip Thurman Makes Second Visit with Gators caught up with Dover (DE) defensive tackle Trip Thurman as he and his head coach head back to Delaware.

The 6-5 and 290-pound offensive lineman was very impressive at camp eliminating any questions about his ability to play offensive tackle at the next level. Trip Thurman talked about his trip to the University of Florida for camp.

"For this camp I came down with my head coach on Saturday. We got there around three and checked in and then at five we went and ate. I was working with Coach Addazio and focusing on technique and stuff like that. The next day we got up and ate and had practice then had lunch. After that I had a quick tour of the locker room and stuff like that. This morning we got up and met with Coach Meyer, it went great. It's a great school, great academics and great football."

Was the visit enough for a possible commitment?

"I really like Florida but there are a few things that are keeping me form making that next step. I told them straight up I am real interested in Florida and I really like it down here. Every mom doesn't want their baby to go far away from home so it's a little bit of that. I mean I think I just need to get my mom down here for a visit so she can talk to Coach Meyer and Coach Addazio so she will feel comfortable."
