FNL Player Preview: Latroy Pittman

One of the nation's finest prospects for the class of 2012 is two-way standout Latroy Pittman. Pittman, a wide receiver/safety prospect from Citra (FL) North Marion has great size for a player who has two years of high school football left checking in at 6-1 and 185-pounds.

Latroy Pittman will participate in next week's Friday Night Lights at the University of Florida.

"I am going out there to show my talent and to let everyone know I am one of the best players in the state and nation. I want them to understand I am a good choice."

Pittman has the ability to play either side of the ball at the next level but the Gators like him with the ball in his hands.

"So far they are showing interest in me at the wide receiver position," Pittman said.

"I have real good hands and nice ball skills but I want to work on my route running a bit but it's pretty good right now. I am ultra quick and a real aggressive competitor."
