"I just want to compete," Chris Johnson said about attending Friday Night Lights.
"I'm not trying to accomplish anything, I just want to go out there (FNL) and do what I need to do."
The 2011 University of Florida recruiting class could see as many as six defensive backs come National Signing Day and it's a safe bet to pencil in Chris Johnson. It will be up to Johnson to make the dream become a reality as he has some work to do but all indications are things are moving in the right direction.
Johnson was a participant in last year's FNL and was one underclassmen that really caught my eye. He was explosive in and out of breaks and showed nice footwork and good change of direction. A good comparison to a certain extent might be former Gator Gus Scott. This is one that could be over sooner rather than later assuming Johnson puts in the work needed to become a Gator but unfortunately that might not be decided until September.
