Laura McKeeman Joins and FOX Sports are pleased to announce that Laura McKeeman will be joining the Fightin' Gators content team.

McKeeman will focus on providing both written and video content for and throughout the SEC for Scout, and FS Florida. In addition, McKeeman will provide recruiting coverage on up-and-coming prospects across the nation.

"I have always been very impressed with the content produced by FOX and Scout and I am looking forward to joining this team," said McKeeman. "The opportunity to begin my career as part of this all-star lineup was too good to pass up. I'm looking forward to honing my talents and learning from those around me at Scout and FOX Sports."

"Laura's name was brought up to me by several people as someone who would fit in nicely to what we are building at, as well as throughout the SEC," said Joel Cox, Executive Director of and FOX Sports Interactive. "She's a five-tool player in that she's proficient as a reporter, and an analyst, and can provide her insight through the written word as well as television and radio, and that's how we plan to utilize her considerable talents."

Currently, McKeeman is a senior at the University of Florida majoring in broadcast journalism. She has a passion for football with an emphasis on recruiting. Formerly, she was a reporter for and hosted the GatorCountry TV show as well as a weekly web show called "The Recruiting Hour." She has worked for and producing written and video content. Mckeeman is a contributing writer for and does video features for Tampa Bay Rays broadcasts on Sun Sports. She has also been a prominent part of the radio show called "The Cheap Seats" on AM850 WRUF in Gainesville, Florida. In her personal life, Laura is a soloist dancer at Dance Alive National Ballet and a tour guide for the University of Florida. She is also the reigning Miss Suncoast 2010, representing the West Coast of Florida for the Miss America Organization.

"With her professional demeanor that shows well beyond her status as a college student, if you don't know of McKeeman, you will be a fan really soon. McKeeman will begin work with Scout and FOX Sports immediately.
