Lane is a Rising Star

Adam Lane is one of the most talked about players in the state of Florida and one to watch over the next few years. Only a rising sophomore from Winter Haven (FL), Lane is a complete running back that is on the radar of many top programs around the country.

"A-Train" as Adam Lane is commonly known as talked about his summer.

"My summer pretty much consisted of as many camps as possible. My family and I went to my brother's spring game up at Rutgers. My first combine this summer was at Tampa Jefferson High which was the NUC and I was the overall MVP and strongest man at that combine. I ran a 4.43 and benched 135 pounds 59 times.

"I went to a 7-on-7 tournament at Central Florida with our team, went to a couple camps at South Florida, Florida, Florida State and Friday Night Lights. I was invited to the Miami camp but wasn't able to attend. Our football team had a weight lifting fundraiser where our parents pay a certain amount for every pound we lift and I lifted 405 pounds."

Lane is a very unselfish and is one of those players that just gets "it."

"Less talk less about me and more about the great Blue Devil team. Our summer training consists of working on all of our mechanics and fundamentals of the game that will make us a more disciplined team and to allow us to gel as a family. Of course, the offensive line and I are doing a little extra work to get more acquainted with each other because these are the guys that make everything possible. The conditioning we're doing is great, this is our confidence booster to be able to last all four quarters. We should have a pretty good season this year and go deep into the playoffs, may I add we Super Devils are going to make history."
