Clark Could be one of the Best

Tony Clark has a chance to become one of the elite running back prospects in the state of Georgia for the class of 2012. Clark, a 5-10, 198-pound tailback with 4.5 speed, checks in from Douglas (GA) Coffee County.

Tony Clark talked about a few teams that stand out at this time.

"Georgia Tech has a real good coaching staff. I like the way they do things at Clemson. I have always liked the Gators since I was little. Miami has in your face football and Oregon seems to have a lot of interest in me."

Clark has been on the radar of many teams around the Southeast since his freshman season.

"In ninth grade, I had 312 yards rushing in one game on 15 carries. Last year, I only started the second half of the season and ended with 500-plus yards. I went to Scout camps, Rivals camps and made it out to Oklahoma with the National Underclass last year and was ranked the No. 2 running back there. I have won combine king and fastest man at the Rivals camp. Last year, I was kind of known as the guy that would run you over, but this year I am using better vision and moves. Right now I don't have any offers but I think Georgia Tech might be the first."
